Watershed Farm Wedding and Event Venue is a 204-acre working hay farm located 5 minutes from the beautiful Obed overlook and Obed Wild and Scenic River National Park in a peaceful secluded outdoor setting. The Obed offers climbing, hiking, bouldering, and kayaking in many seasons on the river.
If you are looking for a magical outdoor venue with striking mountain skyline views, lush green fields, mature forests, and lots of outdoor space to accommodate your dream wedding, a visit to our farm is a must. Pictures do not do justice to the beauty that surrounds the venue. Your imagination is the only limit to what magical dreams can be staged here on the farm. OUR STORY
Magical Outdoor Venue
We have a rustic 4500 square foot barn with covered patio seating on 3 sides of the barn boasting the beautiful views described above. We can facilitate 150 guests in the barn comfortably and 50 additional in patio seating. Barn floors are concrete with 4 large doors that open on all sides for an indoor/outdoor dining/party experience. There are several beautiful large open areas with stunning mountain views to accommodate your outdoor ceremony before you move to the barn for your reception.

Our venue is conveniently located 45 minutes from Oak Ridge, TN and, about 1 hour from Knoxville, TN. From the west end, we are 30 minutes from Crossville, TN.

Your Wedding, Your Way
- Is event insurance required?
Yes, event insurance is required and generally runs from $75-$150, depending on the size of your wedding. - Is there electricity available?
We have lighting (overhead party light strings in barn) and plenty of indoor and outdoor outlets for food service, band etc. there is outdoor wall lighting on the outdoor barn walls. - Can we BBQ or grill for our wedding?
We only allow professional food trucks or catering services. You are allowed to choose all your own vendors. - Can we bring our own Alcohol?
Yes, but all alcohol must be served by a licensed bartender with liability insurance. Further explanation in our contract. - Can we use sparklers on the grounds?
Yes, as long as there are no fire warnings in place in Morgan County at the time and they are only allowed outside the barn and at a safe distance from it. - Do you provide setup and cleanup?
You or your vendors will be responsible for clean up. However, table and chair set up is provided in package pricing. - Can I decorate the barn and fields?
Yes, we want you to feel free to put up your decor – we do have a few restrictions about how they are attached in the barn, but you can hang from the ceiling and walls as needed. You are allowed to decorate your wedding area grounds but will need approval of elements used if they need to be anchored in the ground – additional tents for extra event spaces are allowed - Are animals allowed in the ceremony?
Yes, a handler is required to be with the animal at all times and it must be crated or removed after the ceremony. Large animals such as horses are allowed but would need to be removed immediately after the ceremony. We do not have any place to board them . - Do you have ample parking for buses?
Yes, we have lots of bus parking space. - Do you provide a bridal suite?
Yes. - Are candles allowed?
Yes, candles are allowed in containers that cover the entire candle and can only be lit right before the ceremony or reception. Any sort of fire feature would need to be approved but could be allowed if it meets safety requirements. We do not allow tiki torches or any open flames
